I hope that this Christmas has found you all healthy and happy! We had a great Christmas here this year. Kurt is off work now until January 2nd. His parents will be coming on Thursday for a few days to visit. While they are here we want to go see the Zoo Lights at the Calgary Zoo (Thanks Bedas for the tickets for Christmas!) and we want to take the kids swimming again- they both are like fish in the water, they just love it.
Christmas Eve I took Kylie over to my Mom's house while Kurt kept Liam at home to put him to bed. We played cards (which I REALLY sucked at) and read the nativity story while Kailyn and Lukas tried to act it out.
Christmas Day we got up early- I will not disclose how early early was to open presents. Liam has the tearing open the paper down pretty good. It was pretty funny, all week he has been picking up a gift from his aunt that was wrapped in a gift bag and Kurt would tell him to put it back, then finally yesterday when we gave him the gift to open he kept on taking it back to the tree because he thought that he had to put it back. He has really been copying what we do this past week. He will walk past the mirror and fix his hair when he sees his reflection. He says "Mom, Dad, clean up, too slow, book, juice, NO, see ya...I can't remember them all.
Kylie is growing like a weed now. I need to take her in to get weighed again soon, shes got to be pushing 11 pounds now. She is such a happy girl smiling and talking so much. She just loves it when her brother comes over to talk to her and to give her some of his attention.
Well heres some Christmas Pictures for you all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our Family

I can't believe that it's almost Christmas! Where does the time go? We have an almost 20 month old and an almost 4 month old, how crazy is that?!?!
Liam is turning into such a little man. He's starting to listen way better the past couple of months then he ever has before. He loves to hug and kiss his little sister. He likes to feed her a bottle sometimes and then will take the bottles and drop them in the sink. He takes the diapers and throws them in the garbage for me. I never imagined it being this easy to have 2 kids.
Kylie is doing pretty good. She is still pretty little, weighing only 9 lbs 11 oz. We have put her on formula for the most part but I am taking her to the breastfeeding clinic on Friday to see what our options are.
I have decided to sign on with a company called 'Word to the Wall', you can check it out at www.wordtothewall.com . It is such a neat company and there are only 6 consultants so it's not as hard to sell as Pampered Chef www.pamperedchef.com (which I am also a consultant with)
We had our family pictures taken again by my friends Erin at the end of November. She took so many pictures and almost all of the were amazing! Well I had better go, the kids are quiet so I had better go check on them.

Our Little Weeds
Hello Everyone,
Well I thought that I should send out an update. The kids are doing great. Liam loves being a big brother...as soon as he hears Kylie crying he takes off to try to find her so that he can help her. I'm so glad that he is doing as good as he is with her, I was a bit worried about how he would react. Last Thursday night he had his first non-family sleepover with our good friends the Lakes. He did sooo good. I was almost hoping that he wouldn't do as good so that I knew he still needs me but he had a blast with them. When I went to pick him up he can flying across the room to me, gave me a hugh hug and kiss and then took off to play again. He's growing up WAY too fast. He's starting to talk a bit more...well we are starting to understand more. He still talks his gibberish all of the time but can get out a few phrases like..."No!" or "No Mom, Don't!" Sometimes he really surprises us and will answer questions we ask or respond to things we say. It's so much fun!
Kylie is growing like a weed. She has grown 1 1/2 inched and has gained 1 1/2 lbs since she was born. She is now 22 inches long and weighs 9 lbs 8 oz. She is in the 50th percentile for her growth, Liam has always been in the 90th percentile for his height and weight so Kylie seems so tiny to us. She has an appointment tomorrow at the Childrens Hospital to get an ultrasound on her hips, when they are breech they can have problems with their hips so they want to make sure that everything is ok. She started sleeping through the night (from about 10:30 to 6) since she was about a week old. Liam didn't sleep like that till he was 3 months old so this is quite the treat.
Well I am tired so I think that I'm going to go to bed, Kurt is on night shift and for the past almost 2 weeks I have been waiting up for him to get home but it's really starting to take it's toll on me.
Here's some new pictures! Hope that you enjoy them.

Introducing....Kylie Marie
We are more then pleased to announce the birth of our daughter, Kylie Marie Gullacher. She was born via C Section on August 23rd at 11:46 am weighing in at 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. Big brother Liam isn't too sure what to think of her yet. All he knows is that there is a quiet little thing that Mom holds alot and that is taking all of his Mommy & Daddy's attention. He likes to talk to her and he likes it when we let him hold her, as long as it's not too long.

A Waiting Game
Well it's 3 weeks now until the baby is due. It's hot outside and I am incredibly uncomfortable. We found out last week that the baby is breech, yesterday the doctor said that he doesen't think that trying to turn it will prove sucessful. It will put me in alot of un-needed pain and both the baby and I under alot of stress. Now we are just waiting until the OB Surgeon's office calls, then we will go in for a meeting and to book a date for the c-section. I can't say that I'm not dissapointed by this outcome but after alot of thinking, praying and talking it out with some friends, this is the best way to do it. I would never want to put my baby or myself in danger and if a c-section is the only way to get her out safely, then that is what we are going to have to do.
I'll keep you posted on any news!

Our Blessed Lives
Only 11 weeks left until the new baby is due to arrive. I can't get over how fast the time is going. Things have been a alot different this time then I remember when I was pregnant with Liam. Sleeping isn't as easy as it used to be. The mornings come all too fast!
While I was having my blood work done the other day I started talking to a guy at the clinic. After a few minutes of talking he asked me what I had to have blood work done for. When I told him it was a diabetes test for pregnant women he told me that him and his wife have been trying to have children for years and haven't been able to get pregnant. He told me that I was so blessed to be able to have children. Sometimes I think that I take alot of things for granted, one of those things would be having a family. We are very blessed to be able to have children and as hard as it can be, some people will never be able to experience that. I love my family, I love my husband, I love my little son and I love this child that is growing within me. I am truly blessed.
Liam is almost 14 months old. He has such a sweet personality. It just baffles me what a little attitude he has but I guess that he's my child so why wouldn't he have an attitude? He can say 'Dad' 'Mom/Momma' 'down' 'up' 'NO' 'Bubba (bottle)' and then he talks gibberish non-stop all day long. We have managed to get him on a pretty good nap/sleep schedule which is the only thing that keeps me sain some days. He's such a sweet little boy. I'm excited but a bit worried about how I'm going to be able to take care of 2 kids under 18months. It won't be as bad at night when Kurt is home but already I have my hands full with Liam during the day. I have the utmost respect for my parents. I have no idea how they managed to have 6 kids under 7 but somehow they managed and so can I.

He's no longer a baby...but almost a big brother!

I can't believe how fast Liam has grown up. He'll be one on Tuesday. He started walking on March 27th, Grandma Fraser's birthday. Aunty Christa gave him his first haircut on April 11th. He has 7 teeth right now and I think that he's working on a couple more. I can't believe that in a few short months, I'm sure that the summer months will go by incredibly slow but in about 4 months he's going to be a big brother. He has no idea whats going on. We bought him a junior bed so that we can work on getting him out of the crib before his brother/sister comes. We had an ultrasound on April 12th and this baby is just as stubborn as Liam was. It just didn't want to show us if it was a girl or a boy. We have our boy name set, it will be Jackson Motley. Right now our girl name is Leah Rose but I'm sure that it'll change again a few times before I am happy with a girl name. Well my in-laws are coming tomarrow morning so I had better finish cleaning while Liam is napping.

August 31st
Well we found out that the baby is due August 31st. It's going to be such a long and most likely hot summer. I haven't felt as good with this pregnancy as I did with Liam. I can't wait for this first trimester to be done with, then hopefully the sick feeling and the low energy will be done with!

Christmas- Come and Gone
I can't believe that it's already 2006. We had a great Christmas. My Dad came up from Hillspring for a week and Kurt's parents came from BC for almost a week. Liam's two bottom teeth cut through and he started crawling on Boxing Day, from the first tooth to the crawling to the second tooth it took all of nine days. Between the teething and all the holiday excitement it was nice to be able to get back to our usual schedule.
With a new year there are many new adventures that are going to come.
After Kurt's parents left we decided to go down to my Dad's for a few days. We celebrated Kurt's 26th birthday down there. It was on Kurt's birthday that we noticed that Liam's second tooth cut through. We started training our horse Jayde with my Dad's help. She's a good horse, stubborn right now but still good.
We found out the week before Christmas that we are expecting our second child. I think that the due date will be in the late summer, early fall. I am going for a dating ultrasound on Friday to get a better idea of when it'll be due. Kurt's good family friend Robyn is getting married the end of August so we are crossing our fingers that we can make it. I think that if the baby comes before the wedding that we may be able to make it. Unfortunatly if it doesen't come by the wedding date I don't think that I want to leave province and drive 9 hours away from my doctor and hospital.
Our most recent pick for baby names are:
Emily Grace Gullacher for a girl
and:
Jackson Motley Gullacher for a boy
I have a feeling that this time it's a girl but I could always be wrong.
Well I will try to post blogs more often as I'm not the greatest at remembering. Have a great New Year!!

We don't know what we're in for.....

Liam is starting to become more mobile and with that he's starting to get into everything. He pulls himself up onto his knees and can grab anything that he wants. His new trick this week has been pulling himself over to the VCR to push the buttons. He ejected a movie a few days ago and thought that that was just the neatest thing so now whenever you leave him on the floor, the first place that he goes is the VCR.
Kurt has been on night shift all this week so I've been having to bath him and het him ready for bed. His game is that when you tell him not to splash, he picks up his legs and thrusts them down into the water...and then he starts to laugh. He's such a bum with such a personality.
He used to be such a quiet little guy, just like his Dad, but now he screams and yells until his breath runs out...I guess that he just doesen't thinks that we can hear him unless he's being loud.
What have we gotten ourselves into??? This has been quite the adventure. He is such a happy little guy. I can't believe that he's already almost 8 months old. It's crazy how fast the time goes!!
