My baby turns one tomorrow. I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by. It's bittersweet for me. I feel as though the first few month of Jackson's life dissapeared. I had such a horrible recovery after I had him that the first few months are somewhat a blurr, like they happened but didn't really happen. It almost feels unfair. I was so caught up in trying to heal from my c-section that I didn't really get the cuddly little baby time with him, instead I had homecare coming to clean and bandage my wound. I was in pain and on pain killers. And now my baby is grwoing so quickly out of the baby stages. I love him so much, I love them all so much and there isn't a day, a morning or afternoon that goes by without them hearing it.
I love that my kids are growing up, developing their own personalities. Liam and Kylie are getting to that age when they actually like to play together rather then just fight, not that there still isn't some of that going on as well.
Liam is doing so well in school. His teachers said if I wouldn't of talked to them about the problems he had last year with his speech and listening, they would of never known. He is right on track with all the other kids. He has come so far and I am so proud of him. He loves cars, playing with Lego and play dough. Often you will find him dressed up as Batman. He loves super heros. His friends gave him a toy gun as a gift and he walks around the house now looking for bad guys to shoot. He has the biggest, darkest brown eyes and knows how to use them to his advantage.
I have three words that describe Kylie...first one is Princess, second and third are Drama Queen. She is such a caring sweet little girl. She will be the first to offer a hug if you are sad or hurt. She has some CRAZY ideas of ways to play and have fun, a couple of which would be pouring buckets of water on her bedroom carpet or painting her bedroom walls with toothpaste. Or maybe even the time that her and her little cousin Zoe colored all over each other with sharpie markers. She has some of the craziest curly hair I have ever had to brush.
